I structure my coaching on this principle known as 80/20. Essentially 80% of your running is easy (and I mean easy) and 20% is hard. However, that 20% may fluctuate depending on where you are as a runner. I have also used many methods in my training (including Jack Daniels’ principles), and I will work with you to see what works best because everyone responds differently to the same stimuli. I also believe there is not a "magic" amount of weekly mileage that will help you achieve your best. I am an encourager, and I want to help you achieve the most joy and output from running while steering clear of burnout and injury.
Coaching Style & Focus

I aim to have a manageable amount of athletes at a time to maximize building relationships and keep good communication.
Run coaching for beginners, comeback runners, and those looking to develop stable, lifelong habits - backed by a PhD & 20 years of experience.
What you get in Stability Running
Below is what I offer within my coaching:

Personalized Training Plans
Personalized training plans created by a person (me) tailored to your goals and expectations via email and Final Surge Application.
Running 101
Tailored mostly for newer runners. An overview of helpful fundamentals for running training. This includes topics such as shoes, form, paces, pre-and post-run routines, etc..via phone or video call.

Weekly Communication
Feedback or progress notes in a training app called Final Surge or via text. Also, I am a go-to source for all your running-related questions.

Strategy Session
If racing, a strategy session via phone or video call just before to help you physically and mentally prepare and run faster.

Quarterly Check-in
Four times a year, a big picture check-in to go over progress, feedback, and goals.
What Stability Running is Not
I want to be transparent in what I am not offering.
Meal Planning
I do not create meal plans, but I can provide some nutritional guidance.
Counseling
I do not provide counseling, but I can help with mental focus, resilience, and mental strength in running.
Physical Therapy
I do not diagnose or treat running-related injuries.
How Do I Sign Up?
Great Question! If you click the "Join Now!" tab in the header you will get directed to the services I offer! Both services are memberships, so you will be prompted to "sign up." This helps me keep track of members. If you want a "Running 101" Consultation, you will select that plan and book a time slot (times are in Central Time Zone).
Not a time that works for you? Email (below) me your preferences, and we will find something that can work. I aim to follow up within 24-48 hours once a plan is purchased to provide you some additional guidance.

Still unsure about all this? Not a problem! You can fill out my coaching inquiry form for free below, and we can set up a time to chat in the next week or so. My goal is to help answer your questions about coaching and see if I can meet your expectations, even if that means helping you find another coach that may be a better fit.
